The University of Miami recognizes the importance of maintaining a variety of specialized facilities and instrumentation to support the growing research and education enterprise. Shared and core facilities are created and directed by UM faculty and supported by the university to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration. Most of these facilities operate as recharge centers and are accessible on a fee-for-service and availability basis.
Follow the links on the left for information on the facilities available to the University of Miami research community. Researchers outside of UM may also inquire about the availability of the facilities and services by contacting the core directly.
For general information, to add your facility to the list, or to create a new core, e-mail Andrew Vinard
, Manager of Biotechnology Resources for the Office of Core and Shared Resources in the Miller Office of Research (phone: 305-243-1364).
