Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI)
The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI), a partnership between the University of Miami and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, offers web-based training in multiple areas of responsible conduct and research compliance. CITI's program includes a wide variety of courses:
  • Human Research Subjects Protection (Biomedical or Social & Behavioral);
  • Good Clinical Practice;
  • Health Information Privacy & Security (HIPS);
  • Laboratory Animal Welfare (for investigators and Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee [IACUC] members);
  • Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR); and
  • Biosafety/Biosecurity.
To participate in CITI, learners must be affiliated with a CITI-participating organization, such as the University of Miami. Members of the University of Miami research community can access CITI by creating a username and password on the CITI Login and Registration Page or for assistance, please call (305) 243-7970
